The Board of Directors of the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association Inc. (EORLA), a leader in Laboratory Medicine for Eastern Ontario, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dennis Garvin as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 1, 2025.
Dennis brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success in managing healthcare organizations. With over 18 years of healthcare experience, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to drive growth, foster innovation, and lead complex teams towards achieving their strategic goals. Dennis’ appointment follows a thorough search conducted by the board of directors for the next leader.
Dennis joined EORLA in 2022 as its Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Operations. Prior to EORLA, he gained extensive clinical operations experience in both community care and acute academic hospital environments. He held several leadership roles at The Ottawa Hospital including roles in Medical Affairs, Cancer Care, and Surgical Care.

Dennis holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ottawa, has completed the Directors Education Program (DEP) from the Institute of Corporate Directors and the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management, and is active on a number of Boards.
