Hematopathology, Transfusion Medicine, Molecular Oncology Diagnostics & Histocompatibility (HLA)

Our division includes the disciplines of Hematopathology, Transfusion Medicine, Molecular Oncology Diagnostics and Histocompatibility (HLA) testing which provide a wide variety of laboratory services.  These include routine lab hematology, testing and matching blood and blood products for patient transfusions, tests to assess hemostasis and thrombosis, testing for blood disorders such as hemoglobinopathies, diagnosing leukemias and lymphomas, molecular testing for hematological malignancies and solid tumours, and testing to support cardiac, renal and bone marrow transplant programs.
