Laurie Richer, MIR

Vice-President, Human Resources

Laurie Richer joined EORLA in December 2019 as the Vice President, Human Resources.  Laurie brings to the organization over 25 years of experience in many facets of human resources such as employee and labour relations, talent management, total rewards and change management.

Laurie served the majority of her career in healthcare and not-for-profit settings.  Past roles include the Executive Director, Human Resources at Canadian Blood Services and the Director, Human Resources for the Queensway Carleton Hospital.  A highly collaborative leader, Laurie has demonstrated the ability to address organizational needs with effective human resources strategies and position the human resources function as a valued business partner.

Laurie holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology, both received from Queen’s University.  She also completed the Advanced Human Resource Executive Program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Michigan University.
